Free Puppy Groom

At Nose 2 Tail Pet Care, we are committed to an holistic approach to pet care. We believe that dogs who are introduced to grooming regularly at a young age cope much better with it and are better behaved throughout their grooming visits. To help encourage owners to bring their pups in and get them used to this, we have introduced a free 10 minute puppy groom valid for puppies up to 20 weeks of age (5 months).

You can choose from 2 options:

Option 1 : trim in front of eyes & under feet
Option 2 : hydrobath & partial blow dry
Choose option 1 or option 2 and also get nails trimmed, body brush & a yummy treat

For $10 we can include a bath with a partial blow dry if you decide on option 1.
Help your new puppy get used to being groomed from a young age. Bookings are essential.

Please phone Oxley 3716 0643 or Westlake 3376 9917 to book your appointment today!

Pet Odours GONE!

One big concern to a lot of pet owners are the odours that are often associated with their pets bedding and the areas they frequent. Well we have come across some great natural products that can help with reducing the pesky smells we would love to be rid of.

Pure Bamboo have a Pet Area Deodoriser which is made from pure bamboo charcoal which is a by product of natural bamboo. This product doesn't just "cover smells" but actually removes them along with moisture and chemicals.

Moso Bamboo is one of the fastest growing resources on the planet, with amazing abilities and benefits for all. Moso Bamboo is not a food source for Pandas as there is no leaf growth on the first 5 meters of the stem and is too high for them to reach.

The product is very simple to use. Place the sachet near your pets bed, cat litter box, bird cage or any other are where strong unpleasant pet smells are a common problem.

Bamboo charcoal removes strong odours caused by wet dogs and urine. Also prevents mould and mildew in pet areas.

Once a fortnight, place sachet in direct sunlight for two hours per side and it will last up to 1 Year.

After use you can mix the bamboo charcoal into your garden soil to nurture your plants.

Another product is Pet Goe which is an enzyme based spray that removes all traces of pet odour, especially those from urine. Within minutes of use, all traces of odour and urine will be gone.

This is a great product for people with puppies who are toilet training as puppies will return to a place they have used before as it has the scent that attracts them back. Pet Goe will remove this and help make your toilet training a lot easier. It is also a natural alternative to some of the mainstream products that have more dangerous ingredients.

Pet Goe is fully biodegradable and breaks down rapidly in drainage and septic systems so there is no impact on the environment.

We use this product in our salons and think it is fantastic. We often get dogs coming in and lifting their leg so we will always follow up with a spray of Pet Goe. Give this great natural product a go and you will be pleasantly surprised!

Dental chews that are natural and safe!!

How do you keep your dogs teeth pearly white?
Dogs that are fed on a raw diet that includes raw meaty bones should have no need for added dental products, whether it is brushing their teeth or using dental chews. For those dogs fed on a lower quality diet, or purely dry food may need to consider something to help with keeping their teeth clean.

First choice is raw meaty bones. Please use ones that are appropriate for the size of your dog - one that they actually need to chew and wont risk swallowing the bones whole. Do not give any cooked bones to your pets as they can splinter and cause massive damage to their digestive tract!

You can get air dried treats like pig ears, cow ears, roo tails, pig trotters and one of the most loved by dogs whizzer sticks - just to name a few. Even though these are dried treats, any bone content will not splinter like cooked bones do.

One recent trend is to use specialised dental chew bones, but some of these products have ingredients that aren't great for dogs - including corn!!!

Well we have come across a new all natural dog chew, Swiss Dental Chews which are a much better choice as they have all natural hypoallergenic ingredients:

Venison
Ingredients - Rice, Millet, Venison, Vegetable Protein, Vegetable fibres, wheat germ, vegetable oil, mineral substances. Supplements - Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Copper, L-carnitine

Ostrich
Ingredients - Rice, Millet, Ostrich, Vegetable Protein, Vegetable fibres, wheat germ, vegetable oil, mineral substances. Supplements - Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Copper, L-carnitine

Lamb
